Esy Casey is a Filipino American Filmmaker.  She produced and shot THING WITH NO NAME (2008), which was nominated for the Haskell Wexler Prize for Best Cinematography at the Woodstock Film Festival. Her films with Sarah Friedland have been featured on the sites of  Filmmaker Magazine and Art Asia Pacific Magazine. For her latest film JEEPNEY she has received awards and fellowships from The Ford Foundation, The Princess Grace Foundation, and the Center for Asian American Media.

Sarah Friedland is the director of THING WITH NO NAME (nominated for Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Film Festival) and THE RINK (2014 Paul Robeson Award). In  2009, she was named one of the top 10 filmmakers to watch by the Independent. She has been the recipient of grants from the Jerome Foundation, The William H. Prusoff Foundation, and the Paul Newman Foundation and is currently a LABA House of Study Fellow.
